Two days ago I downloaded Travis' album The Man Who. I haven't listened to it yet. I don't know much about this group, but we sang one of their songs the other day in class ("Why does it always rain on me") and I liked it so I decided to download the album.

Why? Do you buy cd's at a shop?

I listen just to several singers and I buy their albums in open sale. I know I could have more music dowloading it fom the Net, but I don't do it. Why? I can't say :D

You know, I download just to have it. But, I never download MTV music and other similar pop singers' albums.

Open sale, what it is? Do they distribute it free of charge?

Last night I found out Simple Plan had a new album, and I couldn't wait to download it!

I was dubious if I should say "in shop" or "at shop" - so I tried to evade this situation saying "open sale". I prefer to buy CDs in hypermalls of electronics and other hypermarkets like "auchan".

I like many kinds of movies as long as they aren't violent. I hate violence, even fake violence

So I guess if you saw "No country for old men" - you didn't like it :?:

What a shame  Learning a language is not just the language, it's also the culture... Songs are a great source of both everyday language (which is not usually found on grammar books) as well as culture.
