Usually, what you can find in a restaurant (outside Spain) under the definition "Paella valenciana", is something completely different from the paella you can taste in Spain...
The real paella is something special, anyway...

To shokin: a mi me gusta mucho mas la paella de mariscos...

It sounds like an evidence. 8)

There are not many people from Calalunya who don't like the paella, I suppose.

Well, it's a matter of taste :D According to my father, it's evident that every one in my town should like seafood (as it's the typical food here), but as a matter of fact I don't :D

You should learn a little vocabulary first, sis.

Mejillones (CAT : musclos) = musles

Actually "paella" is the tool you use for cooking "arroz a la paella" which is the original name of that dish everybody knows and most of people call Paella.

Excellent! I will give you my address so you can mail me the ticket   . It might be cheaper if I just get the recipe from her. You know Dixie I have never tried to make paella; I have seen pictures etc and the ones I have seen with prawns look amazing; but I have never tried it. You will have to give me some cooking tips. 8)
