Postby Elba » Fri Dec 10, 2004 1:45 am

Hi all friends,

I love swimming, I like swimming, I enjoy seing the swimming competences.
If someone has the same interest post your replies here. We can exchage knowledge about techniques and knowledge about that beautifull sport.
I think Ian Thorpe in the best of the world, even that the seven gold medal winner from USA.
What do you think?

Me too, I love swim but sometimes to see the internation competences in the TV help me. I like to see how the competitors move their legs, arms, the coordination.

Which styles do you swim?
I´m a beginer, but I use to swim one hour and a half every day.
Now the swimming pool is close because it needs to be fixed, but at jenuary I´m going to began again. Now I´m doing gym with the same instructor.

Well Down,

1.- you can begin thinking that you have the control into the swimming pool, I mean don´t be afraid.
2.- If you really want swimm look for a swimming school. One hour per day is enough, in the first class you will be swimming
3.- chek the web site: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sportacademy/ and click swimming.
4.- Good luck, if you want you can

I´m sorry guest but there isn´t any reazon to say " I can´t".

You should remember that there are some winners of the gold medal in the paralimpic games, and sometimes they are people who can´t see, or don´t have arms or legs.
Remeber if you want you can

I just like swimming, too. But I don't concern about the world
winner of it too much. I am very keen on the sea, sun, beach
though I have never gone to a place like that. But I can imagine how comfortable it is. So summer is a good year for me since I can often go to the swimming pool with many friends.

Hi, All.

I also like to swim.
I can do only freestyle.
Because, I'm just begginer.
I started to swim since last summer.
So, just a half of year.
Breath was so difficult for me at that time.
It was almost drinking water , you know...
So, I couldn't swim further 25 meter.
But now, I try to swim 500 meter when I go swimming pool.

Swimming is just like flying in the water.
It might be exaggeration, but it's true.
