Greatest player ever has to be Zinedine Zidane, French and has won EVERYTHING with France, Juventus, and Real Madrid. A true living legend, he has composure, style and outstanding control and skills. Anything anybody else can do he can do better. Shame he will retire soon. But remember the name Steven Gerrard, the new king of football. YNWA

I understand what you are saying but unfortunately football like most sports is not like that, only a small select few will be remembered and given the chance, pity as there are so many good players.
