How to maintain and develope our hobbies?

Postby Arale » Sun Mar 27, 2005 5:43 am

Hi friends, I discover that I lost some old hobbies because I don't have much time for them or I have some new hobbies so I am not so much interested in the old ones. Fishing is always my favourite hobby. I remember I went fishing the first time when I was 4 or 5 years old. I caught no fish but a big crab. I decided to bring him/her :?:  up. Some days later, a mouse ate my crab. I don't go fishing now. I also like painting but I haven't drawn for age and my paintings were burnt all.

If we no longer enjoy a hobby, we should give up it. But if we don't know how to maintain and develope our hobbies, we might give up all hobbies one day. What is your opinion? ;)

It depends on the time that we have in our lives that we will continue to do what we love. If fishing was your hobby that you cannot do it now because you don't have time for it, you can continue to do later in your life when you get older and when you have time for it. I believe hobby is an interest that you'll do for pleasure. Thus, there is always something in life that you will like to do and will continue to do it. All we need is time and availability.

I used to love traditional dancing of my tribe. I even took course for being able to perform it well. And I did dance on some occasions. It was just so amazing. The feeling when you do the dance in front of many people wearing traditional outfit.
But when I was on my junior high, I don't have much time to rehearse and slowly my dance activity stopped.

I don't think we'll ever end up having no hobbies. Because people grows and changes wherever you live. And whatever you do, you'll seek something to do on your free time and you'll find it.
