yeah gardening sounds like real fun but I can't know it. I live in a flat without any garden whatsoever. Lucky you all to have your own big beautiful gardens. You can sit there and do many things like even reading a book surrounded by a flood of flowers...:-)

You can grow your plants in the pots. That's what I do and it's really fun.

We have been here five years now and my back yard is beautiful. I have planted alot of native plants (australian). I have also planted frangapani trees, palms etc it is a very diverse back yard. My husband let me have a large garden up the back and that is where I plant all my annuals and seedlings; there is also a bird bath and a bird feeder up there so we attract all the local wildlife. I LOVE SPRING! 8) :)

What style are you doing for your garden? And awwwww.. bird bath and a bird feeder? That's so cute. I've always wanted to buy one of those things, but my mom never lets me. She said it's a waste of time. I also wanted a small house for the squirrels. We have a lot of them running up and down the trees. Well, *fingers crossed* "in the future... in the future..." I hope.

yeah planting in pots is fun too but it won't replace your own GARDEN. Do you remember the movie Secret Garden? I used to love it...;-)

A suggestion though; if you want a fast growing hedge buy some CONIFERS. There are hundreds of varieties they are glorious to look at and can be hedged. You need to speak to a nursery though as some can take years to grow. I bought some for the purposes of fencing and after four years they are 10 feet tall. As I said there are slow growing ones too so you will have to check your variety carefully. 8)

Thanks, I will check it out. Your garden sounds wonderful. Oh! I love palm trees. They are so exotic plants. I wish that I live in warm climate so I can grow tropical trees and flowers.

You can start from the beginning if you have land around your house.

They are the one who eat my plants, but I like them. It is fun to watch them.

There was one squirrel that digged a hole in my friend's front yard, and that thing ate some of his flowers  . It's gone, though. He doesn't know what happened to it.

I don't really have a style for me garden; i just plant what looks pretty. I suppose it is a bit like a country garden; but i try to incorporate alot of Australian native plants; as they do well in the environment without a lot of water required.

The bird feeder is great we always have heaps of birds in the backyard. We made ours it was easy.

My garden is looking so beautiful this month as all the trees I have planted have flowered. I love spring. :)
