usA Dream team getting worse

The NBa is accounted for its tall and versatile players. These players are highly-paid by their respective teams.
They get so much money and yet, sad to say that they can't even serve their nation using their basketball prowess.
In last years WORLD OLYMPICS, the USA DreamTEAM was expected to have such players from the NBA. However, it turned out that these players backed-out and just that.
SO wheres the nationalism that they say they have? DUH!

It's all about the money in that area. And besides, their schedules are tight. They're always booked plus they have to practice for the games. Truthfully to say they don't really care about the Olympics, so don't count on it.

yeah u are rite ... I think they don't give enough importance to international basket though a lot of international players play in the NBA. Sure that's also a matter of money ... I don't really know why do they need money to play for their country.

Well, they get paid to play a game. That's how they make their livings. But playing for something like an Olympics doesn't get paid as much as like playing in the States. So, why should they care since it's not their country. And if it is, they ain't that patriots. Losing a game doesn't hurt US' face to them. It's just a game   (yeah, this is my view definitely  ).

Well u know I think they got enough money during the regular season so it's a bit stupide to claim money (more or less) for the olympics ... anyway it's up to them.
As you said they ain't that patriots

Well, that's what you think, but to me I think they think it's never an enough of "enough money." Besides, those stars have so many illegitimate kids to raise, that's why  .

The Olympics were always about amateur sportspeople, that were competing against other world class oponents. It was never about money. You could not be a professional and were not allowed to enter the Olympic arena.

To begin with countries pay for their athletes expenses to compete. I don't agree with the additional classes they have brought in . i.e. tennis, basketball etc. UNLESS their government pays their way and they gain nothing financially from competing. They should also have to stay in the Olympic compound like other athletes they should not be allowed to stay in high priced motels etc.

They don't sound like the "Dream team" to me. They sound more like the "Nightmare team". Unfortunately though they have become celebrities in the US. We don't treat our sportspeople like that here; they don't get paid that type of money. That is why they all end up in the US ; they seem to spend big dollars to get the best. We lose alot of our sportspeople to the US because of that.

I don't think money enhances there performance.

I don't believe that this is real sport either!
