the mosh pit

Postby illusion » Mon Aug 15, 2005 8:49 pm

i have some friends whose best past time activity is going to rock and metal concerts and jumping in the mosh pit. I myself found that amusing at some point and been just wondering whether you find it fun too? We shouldn't also forget about the other side of it... like gettng hurt. I remember I couldn't count bruises all over my body after a night in the mosh pit because simply there was too many of them!

I must sound like an old 'fuddy duddy'; but what every happened to dancing? I can't understand 'mosh pits'. I think that it is starting to go out here. Young people aren't so interested in it anymore; which is a good thing. I also think that most events now have security people stopping it; as so many young people have been hurt.

I have even heard of a couple of deaths in 'mosh pits'. Where is the fun in that? :(
