In my mind, music is really my life. I could not imagine how I would be living if there is no music! I like all types of songs, jazz, ballad, R&B, hip-hop, even dance songs. When I have different feelings, I listen to different songs. For example, if I am happy, I will listen to some dance songs and dance together with my sisters. But if I am depressed, I will listen to some ballad songs, which make me feel sleepy, then I will go to sleep and after that just be happy again! Music is really a magic and a miracle!

i agree with you all, music is necessary for life! it's curious how it can make you feel in a way or another or how it can mean something especial. i love listening to music but i tried to play the guitar and i'm a disaster!

I sing everywhere and everytime , even in my dream and even in the toilet ( hahaha) . Actually I really love music , not only Vietnamese music but also old English songs like : Green fields , She , Happy together , Quando Quando , pretty woman . Next week , I will take part in an English song competition called SING TO LEARN held by languagelink-an English education center . I choose 2 songs : green fields and happy together . The first prize will be a hifi stereo and 1 million vietnamdong . Wow , I'm looking forward to that day .
By the way , i'm a 17 year old boy from Vietnam. Nice to see you

yes ...I love to listen to music.. sometime I feel the music can give you a kinds of power and enjoy when you didn't happy or upset.. I would like to sing in my home or went to KTV of room with friends together when I have a rest time ... anyway, music indeed bring too much happy's time for us( everytime)..I can't imager what's will be happen if no music of exist . hi, above you say you sing along with the singer... really?? that's great... I so like to listen to the pop song at the time.. and you ?? are you like it as well except classical music. I remember have a dreams of become a singer when at the age of 6. but I found that it's so difficult to come ture when I grow up and know of thing .. even I can't become a singer. but I didn't change for music's love forever...

wow! you didn't went to sleep if you listen to music at morning and evening....as for you mention began learning violin , I personly think so difficult to learn well even you spend a long time to it ...as you know that , all of famous for violin's people already began to learn it when they only a little body.. I didn't hurt you at all.. I just think you must take too much time in it and will leading to no any time to do anything( it just my advise ) anyway, it' s have funny about the music...I agree with you about music is expressing of a culture and message.. but I like the guitar rather than the violin. I think play it's so cool and I would very excitation when the pop singer play it appear the TV or other place ...all of young people will carsy for them ...

Fortunately, I have the luck to have the biological possibility to sleep in the night.

Yes, training violin needs spending much time. And you are right when you think that managing time is not without difficulty when you are interested in many things (music, languages, biology, chemistry, chess, cultures, etc.). Anyway I know that when you begin a new activity, it is ncessary to practice and train it daily. I currently spend at least 10 hour for violon and 5 hours a week.

I had had hesitation between guitar and violin. Finally I prefer the sound of the violin (it does not mean at all that I don't like hearing guitar). Guitar and violin can play together and make a wonderful sound. [And I could not financially buy one guitar and one violin. ]

Now I learn how to play on the second string (mi LA ré sol = e A d g) by holding well the violin. (Don't approach me ! the sound is for the moment awful ! )
