Ok, so Germany outbeats the U.S huh? And only three Asian countries could be on the list medal counting list. The rest are European countries.

Well being Irish means we never win anything there..especially as its the Winter Olympics...though I now live in Slovakia and and they have a couple of sliver medals and really messes up in the Ice Hockey. All they had to do was beat the Czech Republic to reach the semi..but they blew it...

I would say proud..I am Irish....just live here and while its nice to see the Slovaks do well in Ice Hockey and Football...its not a disaster for me personally.

I watched the Canada/Russian Fed. game and although I was rooting for Canada, they sucked. Russia played a great game and they deserved to win. I was shocked about Slovakia as well. I thought it was going to be Finland vs. Slovakia in the final.

Oh yeah! I adored it! And team was playing! All together! Not just NHL stars... (though i like them ) It looked just if they were fighting for cup final! And then just... nothing... I guess they won Canada and after it they believed they could beat everyone else! What a mistake...

Did you watch only hockey or something else? Figure skating? No?

Canada was supposed to be the heavy favorite going into the games for hockey. But really, they weren't that good. It's too bad Pavel Bure didn't play. I love watching that guy dance around everyone on the ice.

I am an avid olympic fan because it's one event that brings the world together. I pretty much watch everything that plays on tv though I think short track speed skating is the most exciting. I used to be a fan of figure skating but now I don't like sports that have judging. The scores are always controversial.
