English teams in European Finals

I just want to say a big big congratulations to Ars.enal for reaching the Champions League final and to Middlesbrough for reaching the UEFA Cup final last night. Anyone who doubts that the Premiership isnt so strong will see this as proof that it is just as good as the other top leagues in Europe, even the world.
Middlesbrough performed not just one miracle but again last night they performed another. They were losing 3-0 on aggregate and needed to score 4 goals to reach the final...and yes you guesses it, they did it. What a game...hadnt seen anything like it since my Liverpool last May.
So Ars.enal will play Barelona on May 17th in Paris and Middlesbrough will play Sevilla on May 10th in Eindhoven.

England national team should win the WCup and prove it one more time!!!

so... one of the english teams was beaten in UEFA Cup final, so i hope the next one will follow it's steps... not because i don't like english teams... i do... but this year i want Sevilla and Barcelona teams to succeed! not really counting days left before the Champion League final but eager to know th result and the process.

well, sorry butler but in this specific case im with dixie... i mean, for me Barcelone has the best team, therefore i think the best team should win, although i wouldnt mind to see ~ winning since they have never won this competition and they are also a great team, special with Thierry Henry(sorry if i wrote wrong his name

) leading the team

about Middlesbrough as you should know by this time.. they lost the final with expressive final score 4-0 :lol:

, so i guess there's no doubts at all about who deserved more to win the UEFA Cup

England will never again win the world cup. Their league is arguably the best but the national team is quite poor.

No doubt at all that the best teams won both finals. Barcelona did have the advantage of a very strange referee but Sevilla were just awesome against a poor Middlesbrough team. Cograts to both teams.
