I liked to catch insects.
I caught grasshoppers, butterflies, dragonflies, and so on.

lol..same here.. especially dragonflies.. all four of us enjoyed it..gosh.. i kinda miss it . :lol:
hide and seek and tug of war too... :wink:

I also liked catching dragonflies but now I'm afraid of them. I also vaguely remember playing duck, duck, goose and hopscotch and I liked playing with a sling-shot. Oh, and also baseball, dodgeball and climbing fences.

we used to make our own sling-shot.. our house was situated in a part with many trees and birds.. never got to kill a single bird though..hehe (it's bad, poor innocent little birds).. good thing we weren't good at aiming/targeting.. :oops: :lol:

ME TOO!!! :shock: We lived near the woods and I'd copy my brothers' on how to make them. And also I didn't shoot any birds, mostly just pretend because I COULDN'T hit anything even if I aimed :lol: .

:lol: my brother would pretend too..hehe..
yep..we live near the woods.. a very nice place..we can also see the sunrise and sunset from our house..fresh air..lotsa birds.. a bit scary when there's storm cuz the trees make scary noises..hehe its a house i can't seem to leave.. :cry: but have to eventually..

I remember all that too as a little kid! During the thunderstorms, we would open the door and go out in the rain...it smells really nice those times doesn't it? Then one time, those trees that you're talking about, lightening hit it and it fell onto the side of our building while two of my siblings were showering! Scary stuff.

yah.. its smells good.. so fresh and smells clean right?..hehe dunno how to describe it in exact words... ohh.. going out in the rain..is one fun stuff that i really miss :( .. we would play hide and seek..while raining... or play money money with different leaves.. i was nuts..hehe..gosh,those were the days..

know what, sometimes reminiscing happy moments in the past helps me get my kinda sad present going..

In my childhood, i am used to playing kite. However, I rarely fly it by myself. Its my neighbour or my father who fly it for me. I dont like to compete with the others, so i give my kite a tail. My father said that the rule is effective when he was young. Is the rule valid in your country too?? :lol:
