As you know Brasil was choose to celebrate the Olymphic Games in 2016. This is the first sudamerican country that get the games. Congratulation to all our brasilian ECmembers. We are sure all brasilian citizens are going to work hard to organize the games in the best way.
Edumelo, you have a hard work in this forum. You should to informe about every news about the organization of the future games.

Most of the Brazilians are very happy because Rio is going to host the 2016 Olimpic Games. We know we have too many troubles to solve the next seven years, but we are confident these Games are bringing us a lot of oportunities to improve ourselves and do the better we can to make good games. I know there were fantastic cities trying to host the games too, and maybe Rio was not the most prepared, but we have the example of Barcelona 92, when many people thought the worse of them and they made an excelent work. So I hope we'll do.

I'll be pleased to bring you news about the preparation to the games and answer any doubt. Thank you all and viva o Rio!!!

From all that I heard it was thought that Chicago was the favourite, what with Obama pitching the city and his wife being born there, but it seems that the judges decided that Obama was putting just too much pressure, and besides the games were in the USA (Atlanta) 12 years ago, so even a shorter time span than between Barcelona (1992) and the Madrid candidacy, so I sort of figured out that it was going to be neck to neck Madrid and Rio, is nice that South America gets the Games, now let's see when it will be the turn of Africa.

Oh, you bet. She used her show to promote this. Well, she uses her show for a lot of personal stuff. That's not a big deal to me since it's her show afterall. She can do whatever the hell she wants with it. The bigger deal is she cannot stop kissing the President and his lady's butt. Her nose was too high up their butts that she didn't see voting for Chicago against other cities was lame. I mean, I like Chicago. It's pretty and all. Nevertheless, it's just a city compared to other cities. It stands no chance against other cities that have more uniqueness. She wanted to stand on their side so bad she didn't want to accept this fact. Like last time she was all high as a kite to tell others to vote for him. I'm still bitter about this!!
