Or will you tell me that "when you have a loved girl, you don't need to spend much time with her" ?

THE SOUND OF SILENCE

I know you were sad
Cause' I didn't talk with you
I know you were angry
Cause' of my silence

But please believe that
My heart is not cold
Words are useless in our friendship
And silence has its meaning

Don't see the outside
Then measure my love
There is no mile
In our friendship

Though I didn't say
deep in my warm heart
There is a ligh
shining in the dark

I will never say
I love you so much
Cause' you will find it
In the sound of silence!

Yeah, sometimes silence is also a good way to say "I love you".

You can say words "I love you"...

But I think you can only say I love you with your behaviour.

If you really love someone, and you can let him/her know that you love him/her, what you are going to do is allowing the other person understand it in your behaviour.

When you need to say with words "I love you" you are in many cases trying to get something from it, wheter it is the other person to get happier, or trying to get a kiss, or trying to create a romantic ambience before sex or ... whatever you could want from anyone.

If you really love, you say it with your behaviour, and the other person will gradually, and in the course of time, start understanding what it means and understanding that you really love him/her.

I think that's the only way to say "I love you", but of course I also say it with words... and what I want to achieve is the other person to focus more in that fact.
You can help me with my English by telling me my mistakes in a private message. Thanks :)

I agree. Words are just words, facts are what really matter.

only one
"I love you"

all the things you mentioned are great, really, but how many times people have misunderstood each other, how many times nothing has happened, when it could have happened, just because people are too afraid of saying the one phrase which really matters "I love you"!!!
"To know nothing is bad, to learn nothing is worse."
