Phobias

HI !
What I've heard about spider's phobia is what follows :
just after a big meteorite had fallen on earth, 65 millions years ago, mammals - our ancestors :!:

- spread all over the planet, when dinosaurs had disappeared. So, one tells that our small ancestors (like mice etc.)were the preys of spiders and since that day some human beings genetically developed a phobia against our former predators...

Obviously, this is just a theory :roll:

Trauma-- An emotional wound or shock that creates substantial lasting damage to one's psychological development, often leading to neurosis. For instance, something that happened to you that made you scared and can't forget it for the rest of your life. You'll be hurt when people mention it.

Spiders- Arachnephobia or Arachnophobia (spider is in the Araneae scientitic classification)
Mice- Musophobia, Murophobia or Suriphobia. (mice are in the Muridae and Cricetidae scientific classification)

hey i just checked the phobia list out and there's even something like fear of bicycles, of beautiful women or clocks!!! it's unbelievable that some people can be afraid of something like clocks! I think my personal phobia is probably Androphobia LoL and if you wanna know what kind of phobia it is, you'll have to check the list out!

Darkness. Deep water. Snakes. The last one I must have inherited from my grandfather- he didn't read a book if there was a picture of a snake.

Spiders. Can't even view a picture of one of them. Gives me the creeps.
