Phobia includes fear of height, spiders, snakes, being locked in a narrow or enclosed space etc. Fear, I think,that a trauma that leads to the fear.
Trauma-- An emotional wound or shock that creates substantial lasting damage to one's psychological development, often leading to neurosis. For instance, something that happened to you that made you scared and can't forget it for the rest of your life. You'll be hurt when people mention it.
What do you call a phobia in rats and spiders?
Spiders- Arachnephobia or Arachnophobia (spider is in the Araneae scientitic classification)
Mice- Musophobia, Murophobia or Suriphobia. (mice are in the Muridae and Cricetidae scientific classification)
