I think the most important is the strong friendship people have with each other so that they can get a stronger relationgship as b/f and g/f..! Keeping in touch; try to make the relationship real, as much as possible and If it is a real love, and meet each other in the future, everything is gonna be perfect ( well, "good").. Never giving up and do the best in that relationship.

I know that Destiny and Distance is a big enemy in this case, but love can do everything. My b/f and I have faith in that and now we're gonna meet and I will travel to his country soon .. I feel happy.. And I'm glad sharing my love story with u all!

Oh I whole-hartedly believe that you can be truly in-love with someone over the internet, even if you haven't met. My Mum met her b/f who lives in New Zealand, and although they haven't met yet (still saving up for the hughely priced flight!), they are definately in love, they have been emailing each other for over 2 years now, and ocasionally phoning each other.

Yes, there are risks with internet love, you obviously aren't going to know each other as well as you would if you lived within driving distance to each other, and the relationship may grow slower because of the distance and unreach-ability (is that a word?) but can definately be done and can work.
