A Shocking Story!

Hello!
I'm a Japanese high school student.
Now, I'll tell you about my interesting story

When I was a child.
On Xmas Day, I wished Santa Claus to give me a toy car.
And before I go to bed,
I put a letter with my questions on the table.

I wrote 'Where are you from?' in ENGLISH.


The next morning, near my pillow,
I found the toy which I wished.

And on the table,
the answer by Santa Claus

At this moment, I surprised...!!!

The answer was written in JAPANESE! 'Sorewa himitsudesu(That's secret.)'

Until then, I believed the Santa Claus was coming from foreign country.
But this letter was written by JAPANESE...!
I was shocked at this happening...

What do you think of this story?

I think he was surprised too, that you wrote in English. ;)

hi,i like japanese people they are very organised in their life and Japan is a very developped country.it's a big pleasure to send you my friend what i'm writing.
your story is very funny it shows the innocence of being a child.but christmas anb santa clause do not exist in my culture that's why we do not celebrate christmas here.by the way i live in an arab country.concerning the fact that santa clause wrote you sth in japanese i'm sure that it's one of the people you know.bcs santa clause still an imaginary thing for those who celebrate christmas.

Santa Claus is very clever...!!
If Santa Claus can know all the languages,

In fact, Santa Claus's true character is own parents.(But children isn't know... )
Everybody can enjoyed Christmas! Not only children but also parents.

Here in Estonia. Kids always when they write to Santa, they write in Estonian language I think, but we also don't call Santa Claus as Santa Claus.
We call Santa Claus as "Jõuluvana" in Estonian language. And Christmas we call as "Jõulud". So "Jõuluvana" means something like Christmas-old, or Christmas-great, or something similar.
