do we have to teach our city dialect to our children?

Teaching languages to our children is very important. What do you think about teaching the dialect of their city?

As per my opinion, I think it is really very important since the children will grow up in that city and are still residing there so it is vital for them to be aware of the languages spoken internally and better communicate with their friends and the people of the city there. It will be an ease for them in studying, doing business, shopping, going out etc.
