I wonder how the answer of the quiz of the idiom "get a look in" is "C".

If a university is supposed to be open everyone,
I'll get a look in if I graduated high-school no matter how good it is.
But the answer says that I won't a get a look in if my high school is not famous.

In my opinion, It must be an error.

In many countries acceptance (or getting in) to a college or university depends
on one's high school test scores, along with other factors.

Are you referring to get a look in found in EnglishClub.com's idioms section?

The answer given on the above page isn't C, it's A.

The university was supposed to be open to everyone, but you wouldn't get a look in unless you
a. went to a famous high school :ok:
b. went to a normal high school
c. hadn't been to high school

Perhaps what is confusing you is the word "supposed". Here it means:
- the university should have been open to everyone (but in fact it wasn't)
- they claimed that the university was open to everyone (but in fact it wasn't)

You need to study the word "supposed".

Why have you come today? You were supposed to come yesterday.
Politicians are supposed to be honest but in fact many are corrupt.
