Run=Own?

Postby IrinaOlegovna » Tue Nov 16, 2010 3:15 pm

Hi!
I've got a very simple question, though only you can tell me the answer.
If I say I run a hotel, does it mean I own it?
Thank you very much!!!

It's true only if you own and run a hotel simultaneously.

To own a hotel means to have ownership of it, whereas to run it means to manage it.

You can say that you run(manage) a hotel as a president,

but it doesn't necessarily mean you own it.
