hi there, i was wondering if you could lend me a hand to find out if certain phrases/words/idiomas are used the appropriate way, especially because i like to experiment how the words can be combined.
i have a wide vocabulary and a fluent speak in my native language, i feel maimed when i speak english, since i can't do the same.
questions rise form time to time, and i don't feel like opening many threads, i was actually thinking to keep this updated and post when i have new questions, is it possible? better to start new threads?
anyways, today's doubt is:
"you can see her trotting by if you get close to the bookshelves"
premise: in this videogame you have a sort of partner that follows you around.
point of the sentence: to mean that the girl comes close with a lively pace if you inspect a bookshelf.
does it makes sense? clunky sentence?
