I'd put one comma after "years".
However, the whole sentence is a little illogical because you are mixing time and ways. What would work would be something like:
I've been involved with the community in many ways, from helping my father rework old houses to volunteering at the local firestation.
I've been involved with the community for many years, from 1995 until now.
You could also use a dash, like this:
I've been involved with the community in many ways - from helping my father rework old houses to volunteering at the local firestation.
I've been involved with the community for many years - from 1995 until now.
