Need help - my motivation letter

Hello everybody! I am writing a letter of motivation to apply for a scholarship. Could you please revise it and tell me what i need to correct/change? Thanks a lot!
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am third-year law student at the X. Through this letter I would like to express their interest in a student exchange program between my university and the University X.
Since my high school studies, I have always been interested in law, politics and international relations. Now, our country develops in many areas, such as a science, mechanical engineering, medicine and especially agriculture, and feels a big need for specialists which will bring it forward. For this reason at first I have received an economic education. In 2011 I have finished the X and have received qualification of the economist. During training, I was an intern at the bank X and later in the X. During the internships, I fixed the skills obtained at the university.But progress of society wouldn’t be proper without good legislation and administration - that is why I have chosen to study law. Furthermore, learning foreign languages and studying abroad seems very important for me, as soon as today’s state is unthinkable without reliable international partners, which will be able to help when needed and share their experience.
Participation in an exchange program with the X would let me acquire and extend my knowledge in the field of civil and European law studies. Moreover, I would be able to establish new relations with like-minded people and adopt their best practices. In my opinion, this is a great opportunity to achieve my main goals - studying Belarusian and European law in order to help people and organizations in their life and business relations.And I am confident that the X provide their students with the best opportunities and conditions to study and improve professional skills. I have no doubt that this is an experience I would never forget, an experience that would enrich my life for years to come, and help shape my future graduate studies, and career.
