travel visas are use by countries who are strict in foreign admissions. this is to limit the entry of other foreigners who would end up living in their wealthy nation and partaking with their wealth(it's one form of a nation's self protection) most of the countries who require such visas prohibits the illegal entry of people in their place. that's the reason why human smuggling and tnt's has been rampant in some nations.
