food for breakfast??

Post by suhana »

It is already 9.20 a.m now. My stomach is singing the ugliest song as I haven't taken my breakfast. Talking about breakfast, my mind drifts to the image of crispy steamy "roti canai" and a glass full of "teh tarik". These are my favourite food and drink. Cheap, fast, and delicious! Available only in Malaysia!!! :D

Thanks for your opinion!
Yes, I have heard and seen sushi, but not tempura and the other food...mmm, I have forgotten the name! Sorry
Anyway, I just couldn't eat sushi. I hope I could. But my stomach just doesn't want to accept eat. Perhaps because I am not used to it. You might want to try roti canai and teh tarik. It will just open up you day with a big smile!

1. Bagel and cream cheese with carrot juice
2. A sandwich with a glass of hot chocolate
3. Bread, bacon, sausage, and egg with soda
4. DIM SUM
5. Pho
Oh this is just getting me hungry and I can't wait for the morning so I can have my breakfast.

Merce, I think this website has provided the fairest and clearest explanation of dim sum. Again, I think :D
http://www.geocities.com/chinatownshop/dimsum.html

and this site has pictures of dim sum food (not everything though but still good enough)
http://www.dimsum.com/ds1.html

My fav. are: special shrimp har gow, chiu chow fun gor, steamed scallop dumpling, stuffed bell pepper, shrimp rice noodles, sticky rice in lotus leaf, sui mai and egg custards tart (the pictures are not on that site) and a lot more...
