director of vs director to

Post by pdh0224 »

Dear teacher,

Ms. Espinosa got the part of Brooklyn - a Paris street singer who goes to New York City to find her father - after being called by a casting director to audition for the show's workshop at the Signature Theater in September 2002.

Q : I think "director of" is better than "director to". What do you think?
