Sir,

I am a sales manager.

Is it correct to say"sales". If yes then can be say "I am a Compters Engineer.".

Yes, 'sales manager' is correct, but, regarding the second, 'computer engineer' is the correct form.

The singularity or plurality of any attributive noun is fixed mainly by convention, and therefore cannot necessarily be logically deduced from any other.
