Can anyone tell me how easy it is for a qualified British-born English teacher to find work in Argentina these days?

Many thanks,
Brian Budget

:)

Hi Brian,
Firstly, I suggest you go to the Argentinian Consulate in your place to find
out about paperwork, work permit ...
When are you planning to come down to this side? What are your plans? Where
would you like to teach?

In the meantime I figure these sites will be helpful:

You can also get in touch with the British COuncil in Argentina:
http://www.britishcouncil.org.

International House:
http://www.ihworld.com

As you probably know, the economic and social situation of this country is
quite unsettling , but anyway, I figure it may be worth coming down to this
side.
Best of luck in your search,
Sandra

Brian,

I am the Director of a Language School in Montevideo (Uruguay) and at the moment I am looking for a Native English Teacher to take some final examinations at our Institute.

Do you think you could be interested in coming for 2 days to Montevideo by early December to take the students exams?

If interested you can contact us sending your resume and any queries you may have.

e-mail to: guildford29@yahoo.com.ar

Hi Brian if you are still seeking a position I suggest you send your resume to british schols such as Northland (one of the most expensive here) and there must be others too. Check this out in Internet and send them your resume by email.

best luck
Reina
