Have you ever heard any thing about the book named "Vater und Sohn"(=Father and Son)?
The book was written (or better to say, drawn) and published by the great German cartoonist, Erich oh Ser in 1926.
Erich ,whose artistic signature was E.O.Plauen,was born in Plauen,in Germany,in 1903 and died in Berlin in 1944. He was a great artist and his political cartoons were very popular among Germans at that time. He was so kind and was interested in children, nature and animals.
When his wife died, to amuse his only son, he started creating and drawing funny stories about life. These stories were then published as the book "Vater und Sohn" which soon became popular among children all over the world.Children came to love him and his book and when he died ,most of the children in German or other countries who had read his books cried in his death and wrote many letters for his son,Christian.
I used to read his books when I was 4 or 5 and I really enjoyed them.Even now, that I am 17, reading his books makes my day.
God bless him!
