Postby Elba » Sat Dec 10, 2005 10:44 pm

Some Ec members have express the interest to know "the best Latin America music".
This is the objetive of this topic, let you know some artist and music of countries of the "brown continent".
At Latin America is well known that one of the principal characteristics of Brasil is its rythm, its music, its dancing: samba, bosanova, etc.
But Brasil is not only that, there are some artist that give different musical concepts but they are not far of their origin. This is the case of Caetano Veloso.
Click on the link above and hear the music. ONLY FEEL THE MUSIC.
After that feel free to express your point of view.

Hello Elba and all friends,

I liked this topic, because lots of people like our music but don't know it very well. I'm sorry, but I'm at work now and I'm a bit busy today. But tonight I'll make a list of some good Brazilian singers, bands and the best of our music, as well as I'll find out some links to their sites and to listen to their music.

See you tomorrow,

Eduardo.

Hello friends, how are you today?

The artist Elba has shown is called Caetano Veloso. He is very famous here in Brazil and his kind music is called MPB (Brazilian Popular Music).

Following I write about other good Brazilian artists. You can listen to their music clicking on their names:

Los Hermanos: A Brazilian band (despite the name) from Rio de Janeiro. Their music is a kind of rock mixed with bossa nova. To listen to their music, on their site, click on the menu "musica". Click on the pictures to chose the album and on the names of the music to listen to the music.

Nação Zumbi: A band from Pernambuco. Their music is a bit of many rythms from Northeast from Brazil. Click on the menu audio to listen to their music on their site.

Fala Mansa: Their music is called "forró", a rythm made to dance. Just go to their site and listen to their music.

Tomorrow I'll post more good artists.

See you!!!

Music

:D

It's so nice to talk about brazilian music because you have a lot to talk.

There are lots of kinds of rhythm.

You just hear it and choose one that fill you up.

In addiction, if you like rock, pop, soul, jazz, instrumental, heavy metal, we have everything. If you know portuguese, you can notice what is the "plot" of the music.

To foreigners, we just have samba and bossa nova. Wrong thoughts!

Music made us happy. Try listening brazilian rhythms.

Nice topic. I've got go now.

Bye.
