War and Faith in the Sudan...an important book about the Sudan...by Gabriel Meyer....has anybody heard of it?
I am watching the author speak about it (on book TV) as I write, and it seems like a very important subject, about this large country in Africa. I knew some small things about the Sudan but now he is really opening my eyes about the the ethnic genocide :( and the Sudanese own holocost...he wrote the book as a sort of eulogy. I am touched by his love for these beautiful people.
I applaud his "gentle generosity and steely determination" in putting out such an explosive truth about things that are often ignored...a term that he just spoke about the people of the Sudan.

hi
i do appreiciate your concern about Sudan and Sudanese people . but i'd like to clearfy that Darfor crisis is more compicated than imagine . i think no one can give the actual or right cause of what's goning on in Darfour even we who are living in Sudan al our life .
but i think it's not like what you mentioned above . there're no ehnic genocide . and of course can't considered as a sudanese holocost. i don't know the auther , and i didn't read his book , so , i can't give you my own opnion on the book , but i sugess you to read the other view ( government ) then you can compare and gudge
hereby governmental offical webside you can entered and take a look

http://www.darfournews.net/en/.
