Hi guys!
I am very happy to see Josef in here today!

I am trying to think of the name of this show they have made it better and edited the first one now...so I have seen two of them...i taped the first one from the near beginning to the end of the show and have that VCR tape of the show. I will try to let evryone know the name of the documentary soon.

So far as the Adam and Eve story which has a variation in many, many religious teachings. The names changes and situations vary but the stories are so similar throughout the world....these things have been studied intensively by scholors like Joseph Campbell and Bill Moyer. Mythology is full of these "first parents" stories.

The Urantia Book ... which my mother read religiously as I grew up, explains the exodus of the various colored tribes of man from the mother countries, to the rest of the world, it is just another version but an interesting one.

That documentary was the most exciting news I have had from the screen in my whole lifetime and I was estatic when it aired. Proving what I felt to be a truth since my youth, after reading the Urantia book and many Creation Stories.

Oh... the Garden of Eden was meant to be in Mesopotamia. On the Black Sea.
YET...
THEY were to have been decended from the lemur in the Urantia book stories.

Adam and Eve are existed in too many cultures and told in too many different ways of how they were created on earth. That's why I don't believe in it as how we are here on earth. Evolution is reasonable enough for me.

let me first congratulate all of you for the nice topic
i believe in creation of Adam and hawwa (eve) and the story that found in all religion, but i wonder how could the man of that era navigate through oceans from his initial point ( wherever it was) to other places
and when i think of Colombo and his suffering to reach the new land (USA) by accident while he was meaning India i really got surprise how could the ancient man did that ??
anyhow , it's interesting to think in such things

Most of the continents were joined together thousands of years ago. In fact, their movement is still happening right now. Like San Francisco, they predicted it would move slowly toward Los Angeles. And by, well, I don't know how many years, it will be closer to L.A than it is now.

He went in the different path. Instead of sailing east direction he was sailing west.
