lemon juice is a good choice. Hm.. but I prefer apricot preserved in salt. it's a popular drink in north Vietnam as apricot is available in early summer. you can enjoy by putting suger in salty apricot juice and mix with ice. Oh, thinking of this drink make my mouth water.

Ah ! Yes !

(but not all beers are blond/chelas ; anyway I prefer the chelas/doradas rather than the negras)

Hola por favor ! dos chelas bien helodias !

Does the name "Élodie" (Elodia ?) come from Helodia ?

Water - Always healthiest

Sugarcane Juice (served extra cold) - Great energy booster for that long hot summer day.

Doogh - A persian drink. Yogurt, soda water, dried mint, and salt. An acquired taste

Yeah, drinking much boiled and filted water is really good for your health. To me, orange juice, soya milk or mint milk is wonderful.

Do you know mint or peppermint? Instead of drinking milk with chocolate, coffee, I like drinking milk with mint. That's my idea.

Although I try to express it, you don't understand it. , I don't put mint leaves into it, it is only milk which has mint taste. In French " lait à la menthe". Could you help me express it in English, essie. Thanks for that

I just mix mint into fresh milk and drink. It's very simple. I don't know they sell it outside or not, but you can buy minty syrup and make a glass of peppermint milk for drink. :)

I understand. I meant that I could not have any mint flavour with milk, let alone in milk. I guess it's an acquired taste. I've also seen milk/citrus drinks.. Orange, lemon etc.. I couldn't enjoy those either.

Good Morning from Italy!
During the summer I prefer fruit juice and lemon tea in a great quantity ... and also... coffee mixed in a shaker!

Ingredients (for 1 person) 8)

1 coffee cup of weak black coffee
1 coffee spoon of sugar
1 tablespoon of vanilla syrup
4 or 5 ice cubes

Sugar the weak black coffee and you have to leak it in a shaker full of 4 or 5 ice cubes. :)
Then you have to add the syrop, bung and shake for 1 minute.
Then you can serve in a stem glass, sprinkle with cocoa, some coffee bean or mint leaf. :o
IT'S READY!!! :P

This summer I drink this new wonderful coffee Javaberry. My family just fall in love with it taste. It quenches the thirst and appeases the hunger simultaneously.

I don't like carbonated drinks either, I prefer to drink purified water or cold fruit juice in the hot days

a cup of green tea, why not?

has anyone of you ever once tried green tea? if yes, you have a right choice ( just in my opition)
if no, allow me to advice you to try it once. my reason is because according to our traditional conception (vietnamese), it plays a rolle not only as solacing the thirst (in hot summer, notable in last european summer, reportedly up to 38 grad in some west european nations like germany, france,... i am  ) but as delivering preventive medicine to some disease as to liver, kidney, heart...

however, i must add that this is our customs, as i know, there is no offical research published on link between this tea´s effect and human health.
anyway it has no bad impact on your health, since our people consuming much tea a day have no health problem.

let´s try and enjoy it.
