AUSTRALIAN CHILDREN FOLLOWING AMERICAN DIET!

Postby Shazzam » Sat Aug 26, 2006 11:15 am

They have just done a survey on young Australian children which shows that they are fast becoming the second fattest kids in the world (US the 1st). OMG I can't believe it the American fast food system has started affecting aussies. We have had fast food outlets for years but it has become a way of life here too. Now we have fat kids, that don't wear thongs (they wear runners in this stinking heat) and they don't need them because they don't run anywhere. ~ sad if you ask me we are loosing our culture. People talk about how bad other cultures are but the US culture of fast food and more fat the better has affected peoples health it is like a bomb. These kids won't make it to 45. Parents are to blame it is the easy way out. I refuse to let my kids have more than one fast food meal a month.

There you see how stupid Australians are! With all the information on US style fast food available to them and they still embraced these corporations like MacDonnedls when they came to Oz.

USA fast food is popular in all the world. Here at México children only want to go to Mc Donalds, Burguer King, etc.
Those companies use tricks to be atractive to children, every visit mean a little toy for them. Parents acept to go with children because that mean not to cook this day. Some children don´t want the food, only the toy, but parents think "OMG! the food was to expensive to let on the dish, then they decide carry the hamburguer to home and give it to the children AT NIGHT!!!!!!! My God!, only because of a monetary reazon!
The problem isn´t the fast food, the problem are parents. Pleaseparents think in the children´s healt. And that´s All!
