Teachers TEXT Books

This is for the teachers here. What are some of your most recommended books for EFL teachers here! What do you think of Murphy's Intermediate English ?

If you had only one book when you first began teaching, what would it be?

Cutting Edge for Grammar (In fact, all skills are included in the books, but they mainly focus on grammar.)

Language to go for communication.

Each kind has different levels from elementary to upper-advanced.

I prefer Longman's books.

As I recollect when you were on chair you told us (or it was Lennye) that long-long time ago you were going to teach Russians English. Have you eventually taken the plunge, Teacher Danyet - Defender of Galaxy?

(I am too curious)

That's him, Tora. And he's still thinking about it. Got any good English books you would recommend for an English teacher in Russia?

I am a student not a teacher. I may share the text books I studied. We had Headway (Oxfor University Press) - I finished it on upper-intermediate level, though they definitely have advanced level. Now I'm on "fast track to CAE" (Longman) - it's much better I must say

Come on, come here
