By 'will' do you mean a desire or request, or do you mean 'document giving possessions to family and friends after you die'?

If #1: Dead or alive doesn't matter. It depends on the morality of the request. If it didn't violate any sense of 'goodness', then I'd try to do what they wanted.

If #2: Probably not.

Could you answer your boyfiend's / girlfriend's questions using a lie-detector?

No, I couldn't. I have my own personal right to keep secrets of my own; hence, I would feel my privacy was violated if I was tested by that lie detector.
