Guys, I need your help with something. Have you heard a song by Romanian band called Akcent? I am taking about this
song

Before I saw the video, I though that they are singing: Yo quiero un momento contigo
But in the video it says that the name of the song in Jokero. I found the lyrics, and there it also says jokero. I feel stupid  because just a few days ago I was persuading my brother that they are singing yo quiero. And what is jokero anyway?

And also how to translate in English: sentir tu voz

Thanks

Wow..Jokero?? It's almost the same pronounciation of "you quiero".. I cann see you have a great ear because you could analize "yo quiero" immediately!!!

( sentir tu voz= feeling your voice) Oh sweet :P

We know already that Colombia has great singers. But what about authors? I know a great Colombian writer. His name is Gabriel García Márquez. I think he is one of the men Colombia should be proud of. But what about others? Who can tell us about Colombian authors and their books?

Another Colombian novelist could be Jorge Isaacs, who is best known for his romantic novel María (1867).

And José Asunción Silva, known for his fluid use of traditional and new verse forms as well as his melancholy and spirituality that we can see in his poems. Both of them colombian old authors.

Great, you only mustto to be without any car one time in a year, but at México City there is a program called "Today not car". That mean that if the number of your car finish with 0, 1, 2 you can´t use it Monday, if the number is 3,4,5 you musto not to used friday, etc.
That´s in order to not contaminate the air.

Hi Elba
:D So we have the same program for each day but we have it not only to get a clean air but also to control the traffic road. In my country that program is called "pico y placa": pico= the "peak hour" It is when there are a lot of cars on the streets. "placa"= the number of the car.

lets talk about the colombian Rock Festival

Postby Alekxa » Tue Oct 17, 2006 3:00 am

When:
Oct 2007 (annual)
Opening Hours:
1pm-9pm

Rock al Parque (Rock in the Park) in Bogotá is the biggest and best annual rock festival in Latin America. Three hundred thousand people squeeze into Parque Simón Bolivar to enjoy 3 days of music.

Bogotá's rock fans can enjoy a wide variety of international, national and local bands performing for free.
The festival began in 1995, attracting around 50,000 fans. Past performers include Manu Chao, inventors of the ska sound The Skatalites, Kinky from Mexico, the rocking Robi Draco Rosa, the masters of Colombian dance music Sidestepper and Andrea Echeverry from Aterciopelados.

My favorite bands in these last years from the rock festival are "Kraken", "The black Cat Bone" and "La Pestilencia", all of them from Colombia. I like "Manu Chao" from France and "Apocalyptica" from Finland.
