Making money out of his death? Are we mad or what?

No the thing is Dixie that the family is holding the memorial service at Australia Zoo at the Crocodile arena which he built. Maybe this is a way for them to raise money; but they haven't said that it is going to be donated or anything at this time. It will be interesting to see what happens.

But they're charging people to attend the memorial service, right? I was shocked when I read it.

I have to admit I think it sucks too! I don't understand why the family has chosen to do it this way. They could of asked people just to make a donation to his wildlife fund or something.

I would be interested to see how many EC members watched the memorial service for Steve Irwin yesterday. It was a great service very Australian (the way he would have liked it). His little girl "Bindi" was amazing, he must be smiling down at her. It was heartbreaking though what a loss for his family.

Dixie I have to submit a rebuttable. I thought that they had to pay they didn't. It was just that they could only give away so many tickets because there was on 5,000 seats. There was no charge just a shortage of seats hence the rush for the tickets. I felt terrible when I found out. Just wanted to tell you.

It was awesome. It was a great tribute. His daughter was amazing. I felt so sorry for his wife, Terrie she was so devasted she could not speak. She was his soul mate. Why does this happen. It was so tragic such a lovely family man; my x is a creep that hasn't seen his daughter in 5 months and here is this guy that loves his kids and he is gone.

Work that out?

I watched Terri Irwin's only interview in Australia with Ray Martin last night. To put it bluntly I can hardly see today my eyes are that sore from crying. She is such an articulate and brave woman. She comes across as being the sort of person you would just love and sit and talk to for hours.

What a loss for her and his children they miss him so much.

Apparently Barbara Walters flew to Queensland to interview her during the week; did anyone watch that interview it hasn't been seen here yet?
