How to be confident before public?

Postby billkt » Wed Sep 27, 2006 10:47 am

In my opinion, the most important thing to help u feel confident before public is knowing clearly what you are going to say

That's right. So we should prepare well what we are going to talk.

CANT AGREE MORE WITH THIS.HOWEVER MIND YOU IF I ADD THIS? DESPITE KNOWING THIS,SOME STILL FEEL NERVOUS WHEN CONFRONTING THE CROWD,SO JUST PRACTISING MANY TIMES IN THE PLACE YOURE GONNA MAKE IT TO FEEL THE REAL SIT TO CONTROL YOUR PRACTICE THEN.

I always hated talking in front of an audience, I don't like being the center of attention. Maybe that's why everytime I start classes at a new place, I get pimples!

Familiarization is very important. The more you do it, the more you adapt to doing it.

When I was young I was extremely shy. After teaching, I began to feel more confident. Even then, I hated speaking in public.

On Tuesday, I'm going to present a workshop at a university seminar on Foreign Languages. I'm nervous, but I know my information, I'm well prepared and I know the type of audience.

I find that the worst part is the expectation. Once you begin, it's an adrenalin rush! So, remember this and it will help you deal with the pre-presentation phase.

I am a quiet and instroversive person. I don't like talking in front of crowd either. Maybe I lack in courage and confidence.

I never get nervous. Not since I learned to stuff a rolled up pair of socks in my underwear before speaking in public.
