Thanks so much. That is how I feel most of the time. And when I was complaining it was over things such as this!!! You know it really was my biggest gripe! Thank you for the link I have posted it now, in another forum.

as we know, this world where we live is not fair for everyone, but without suffering, there's no compassion.
how many times we would think those suffering things every day?if we'll just be sad because of we see the terrible pictures someday, that in our hearts, does the compassion really exist?
i am a common people, but i wish that there are no more wars or such terrible things in this world, and if we haven't compassion in our hearts, the reason is that there is no suffering in this world.
to holp everyone happy everyday!
Don't think twice before you listen to your heart. I will think thrice!

Shoreline, what you wrote is really what I've been obsessed since I saw the above link. I asked myself the same question like you 'Is it worth if I'm only sad when seeing the truth of life and do nothing?' I can't do anything for them though I see them dying every day. I know if I want to help anyone, I must help myself first. Love and sympathy can't change anything but actions. If anyone has the same thought as mine, think of the above link whenever you do anything. It may take you a long time to turn your love and sympathy for African children into actions but it will never be so late! We'll be able to help them if we give them a place in our future schedule.

Anyway, I'm looking for some useful information about African volunteer organizations. Let me know if you get it. Thanks a lot for any help!

well, as was told here its the kind of thing that we all know that exists, however we still living our lifes as if nothing was happening, its really a shock to see how people must live in those countries, the question is... we have been helping with many humanitarian programs, therefore we should already be seeing some improvements, but the reality shows that nothing is changing and in some cases its getting even worse, so to where is going our money and all our donatives, i bet that there's many people getting rich with that, it must be if people keep living and dieing that way
