It's too late! They won the war years ago. It is just accepted now that they won't cull. They might give approval (very rarely) to hunt down one particular shark (and that is going to be really easy  ) but that is about it.

You have the likes of Valerie Taylor telling people that they are close to extinction, and because she used to dive with them, she claims that they only bite us accidently!!

I know she is still alive because she is still an activist on shark protection and she does commercials. I think her hubby is still around (you would have to check it up on the net) Ron Taylor (I think) and she is Valerie Taylor. She is crazy about sharks!

Another attack today in Western Australia. Mind you this guy was diving 3km offshore, so really he is playing in their territory.

Well here we go again another Shark attack. This time the attack took place at WINKY POP (near BELLS BEACH) in Victoria. The man was out in the surf about 50m from shore; he is still in hospital as he suffered massive bleeding. Locals think that it might have been a bronze whaler shark. The shark apparently came up from under the board and grabbed him around the thigh. Sounds more like a White Pointer to me.

Anyway here is the stupid part; it was 8pm. Like hello when do they think sharks hunt. The other stupid thing was that the guys that helped him wanted to go back into the surf; until the police stopped them. They were backpackers from Britian. God help us; they definately were desperate for a wave.

Sharks are sharks they eat stuff! When you look like a seal which is what a surfer looks like to them they are going to take a bite.

Anyway Danyet Seasons Greetings I'm off to the Bay for Christmas with Mum (you know Mum, mad Irish lady). SO I will be offline for a week or so. Looking forward to it.

All the best for Christmas.

Plus I think I have a massive hot date. OMG I'm so looking forward to that! You have no idea.

Who cares about the sharks....

Manly Oceanworld shark expert Rob Townsend said such attacks were usually a case of mistaken identity, with the shark confusing divers with seals.

"That's why they tend to take only one bite then swim off," he said. "If a great white really wanted to eat a person, it would.

What a joke! Why did the press feel that they had to talk to that shark shagging ex hippie from Manly about it? As if he knows what is going through the mindless brain of a shark!

"oh the poor shark only wanted one bite!"

It doesn't make any difference why sharks eat, bite or kill people. That is what they do ....so lets kill them first along with the ex hippies who want to put the life of a shark before ....people!

Sharks only eat people when: a. you accidentally touch them; b. they mistaken you as other animals in the ocean; and c. there is not enough fish around.

My cousin went to Palau and got some diving lessons there. During that time, her group met a couple of sharks and yet they still made back alive.

Before blaming on the sharks for eating people, you need to reconsider the environment of Australian ocean. Has the Australian ecosystem gotten worse that them sharks have to compete or look for other sources of food?
