Catalunya (in English, Catalonia) is a region from Spain, almost like our States but it's an Autonomous Community. They are more independent from Spain in most part of their political, culture, an even the language. In Catalonia they speak Catalan, a language that something like a mix of Spanish, French and Portuguese. Correct me if I'm wrong, Dixie.

Thank you, Edu. OK you are wrong. Catalan is not a mixture of any language. It is a romance language, just like Spanish, French or Portuguese, and that's why it might sound familiar to you. They all come from Latin and that's why they share so many features.

Yes.. I told you. Do you remember that I told you in one of the Hi5 meesages, when I didn't know that you were you?

I understand because I asociate the words and I translated into Spanish, lol.. But i don't know anything about Catalan, I just use my comprehesion.. ( sorry I forgot how to write the previous word)
