Travelling around Australia!

Postby Shazzam » Thu Apr 19, 2007 11:43 am

I have just recently got a passport for my daughter; and will be getting mine shortly. I travelled around Australia (backpacking in my teens) I have decided that I need to re-visit some of my own country before I head overseas. I have recently looked into the Gold Coast as my daughter wants the opportunity to swim with a dolphin ( I haven't found too many in our waters that will do this for you for free  ). At any rate I was wondering how many other ec members have specific places in Australia that they would like to visit.

My family has a friend whom we knew in Vietnam as our neighbor in Australia. She's been inviting us to visit her in Sydney (not sure about the place) for months. She said we only need to buy the tickets; everything else is on her. How cool is that! 8)

Wow Lenny you should do it what an opportunity! 8)

Try and find out what part of Sydney, some parts aren't so nice, but who cares when you are on holiday you are only a train or bus or ferry ride away from looking at something new. 8)

Oh, trust me, I'd love to, Shazzam. However, the old people in my family don't wanna go to Australia right now. We usually travel in the summer, so we must choose the location that most people agree with. This year, they have to spend some money to get my aunt and uncle to the States for two-three months. And then we'll take them around US. Maybe, we'll think of Australia next year or the year after that. I'd definitely contact you if I ever go there. And I think it'd be super cool if I could see you and Danyet there. How mind-blowing is that! 8)

Hey Lenny it would be so cool to meet you. Buy a lottery ticket. Imagine free accomodation in Sydney I would come up and show you around the northern beaches (so cool you would love it). I don't know about Danyet though he seems to be cemented in the US these days. But you never know. 8)

You know, I was thinking of buying the same numbers for maybe 10-20 years. And a dollar per ticket each day would be 365 bucks in a year. That'd be 3,650- 7,300 in total of 10-20 years for a jackpot number I might get a chance to win during one of those years. I mean, just imagine in 20 years and the numbers I chose never came out would be the worst possibility ever, right?

I was supposed to go a couple of months ago but OVIR the Russian Passport office in Ufa rejected my passport without giving any explanation. So plans have changed. I might go in September.

I used to put LOTTO on for years and I agree the most I won was $15.00 (very depressing). Just save your pennies. So good an offer (free accomodation). Keep an eye on the internet because sometimes you can pick up really cheap return flights online. You can even go standby. Come by yourself!! Don't bring you family lets have a girlie time !!! 8)
