I was supposed to go a couple of months ago but OVIR the Russian Passport office in Ufa rejected my passport without giving any explanation. So plans have changed. I might go in September.

Did you ask them? It doesn't sound like the work of people in office. Usually they would give you an explanation why. Why don't you try to reapply?

I used to put LOTTO on for years and I agree the most I won was $15.00 (very depressing). Just save your pennies. So good an offer (free accomodation). Keep an eye on the internet because sometimes you can pick up really cheap return flights online. You can even go standby. Come by yourself!! Don't bring you family lets have a girlie time !!! 8)

What? For yearS and only $15? You must be kidding! Thank God I didn't get too caught up with my idea; I was about to do a calculation of which numbers I should get for my tickets.

I've been thinking of going standby, too. My Psychology teacher said it was what he did back in his 20's. He traveled around the world with three grand or something in his pocket before becoming a humanitarian. He had to do a lot of searching for cheap hotels, transportation, food and stuff. It was crazy, but he had loads of fun with the natives.

I might (sorry for using might there  ) do the same thing like he did for some countries I wanna visit. However, I'm kinda scared. I have never been traveling alone ever. What if I ran out of money and couldn't come back? Then I would have to find a way to earn money in that country? I've seen some European tourists did it in San Francisco. They drew, sang, played guitar, violin and such. I don't have those talents. Actually, I've been wanting to do pole dancing. Maybe I could try that.

Pole Dancing Lenny? Yeh I suppose you could make money from that. Your best bet would be to leave some money in an account at home just in case.

Yeah, my friend was in the fraternity told me they had a pole in their dorm basement, and everyone just loved it. He said you would be amazed how many things you'd like to do with a pole.

I guess I should leave some account at home in case of emergency. I'd leave my mom back, that's for sure. :P
