You`re welcome. In fact I believe this is a very good to topic to discuss.

Well, To me it`s very important to become aware of this problem, in fact I believe you have given a giant leap, only by suggesting this topic to discuss. Is just like when you`re an alcoholic an you recognize your problem. On the other hand, I can feel that you are a little bit depressed or maybe with your hands tied about it. Well let me tell you that your efforts count, no matter if they can be seen as insignificant. Instead of getting down, try to convince as much people as you can that we have a serious problem with the environment. You shuold try to create conscience about it, discussing it with your parents, co-workers or classmates and try to give solutions such as those you has written.
Recently, I read an article about how we can be part of the solution to this problem, I mean, what measures we, as common people, can take to contribute to drop the amount of CO2 we`ve been launching to the atmosfere. Allow me to give you a few tips about it:
1) Change all the incandecent bulbs you have at home for the flourescent ones. In this way you can save 30% of the energy you`re using. I know they are much expensive than the other ones, but you`ll see a change when you check your electricity bill.
2) Isolate your home. 45% of the energy we use are wasted because our houses are not isolate enough.
3) If some of your co-workers or classmates live near you and usually all of you have to go to the same place, try to use one car. If everybody were doing this, we would get less cars on the streets and, in that way, we would pollute less and reduce the traffic jams.
I hope I would have been helpful....
Regards....
