Uffffff!!!!!!!!!!!

Ladybird, Rasheed, Ertan,

I see that for people from your culture writting is not only a way of comunication, but also an artistic expression, a big sign of culture. Maybe you don´t know, but you give to the writting a value that is near to God.
At the occidental world writting doesn´t have the same grade of importance, is important, but not an art expression in its form, also in the content.

Rasheed could you explain me, please, what are the differences in the three ways or caligraphy.
I mean what are the specific characterstic of any one. Tell me more, please.

I´m journalist, I work with the shapnish language, I like to know about spanish gramar, I read a lot. For that reazon my interest is in the real content of any language.
Ladybird thank you very much to give to this forum the extraordinary topic of arabic calugraphy.

Well, I have recently received the complete Arabic Language learning programme from Rosetta Stone. I thought that I could dabble in learning Arabic in my spare time but as it turns out, I will have to learn to write in Arabic first and this appears quite difficult, much more so than Russian.
I will have to learn to read from right to left, also.

Rasheed,

Thank you very much for your explanation. I undertand what you mean with the SUFIS.
About the kinds of caligraphy:
1.- I know you read and wrritte in contrary direction of us.
2.- In the Nassekh way there is not much problem I think, BUT
3.- Wath do you do to read Kufie like this:

4.- Or Thuluth like this:

AND MORE:

It is a crazy think.
What do you do: read top to down, right to left left to right :?: :?: :?: :?:

Your people are artists.
And you are a man with a high degree of culture, And I know that because of your mesagges.

Thank you.

If you could add me to your msn in order to chat pleas my name is Elba (Rositah). But please firdt send me a PM with your identification name.

Dear Mr Love and Rasheed,

I see in a movie than there are different styles to read or song the holly Quran.

Could you give me some information about it.

I see to that only men have the right to go to schools where they could learn the Holly Quran. Is that real, or maybe there is a school for men and another for women.

About caligraphy, do you know any web site in english where people could learn more about caligraphy??.

Rasheed, you conquer me. Tell me are you the guy of the last avatar???

Oh! tahnk you Rasheed,

In fact I have review "Islamicart.com"

It would be fantastic the Administrator could open a microsite to download music, in this way you could talk to us about songs basic and later talk about how to song Holly Quran.

Dear Rasheed,

As you see, my avatar is a creation of Excalibur, it is so beautiful. As beautiful that I´m thinking in reproducing in ceramic as use it as a tile on the wals of my kittchen and on the floor.
But will be fantastic if you, Rasheed, writte something to me in any kind of Arabic Caligraphy. Then I could reproduce it in ceramic and give it the same use as my avatar, and alternate my decoration.
Maybe you need more information about me:
My name is Elba Rosa, I live in México, I like swimm. In fact I was a mermaid before I came to this world. I enjoy the nature elements like watter, air, sun, but thever the fire. And I like to see the stars at night. I use natural stones as a necklace. I enjoy instrumental and quiet music and I like to practice too some Yoga asanas.
Could you prepare something to me???
