There are people whose think they can solve the global warming problem with air conditioners. Do you guys have any idea how stupid those people sound?

Too much natural phenomena is taking place in our world, and a big number of them are produced for the global warming. We must to think seriously in what to do about it.
I know there is a big responsability of the governments, but this is too a esa way to let out our responsability.
Whym because all day we use items than make our world more and more warm.

One of the first thing I suggest is "prevention", as in your country Bellota, people "prevent".

Particulary I´m taking some messurments, one of them take a cold shower. Firstable I didn´t like. I had the idea that only with hot watter I got clean. but this is unreal. Well at México the weather is warm, but when it is rainning sometimes is too cold.
What do you think about it??

Elba, In this case, I think Danyet is right... global warming is not responsable of earthquakes... you see, those are produced by the movement of the tectonic plates that are under the surface... you can find more information about how an earthquake ocurred in this webpage:

However, It's very good that you've been taking some measurements to fight against global warming, because we can't wait that somebody tell us to do it, we need to take the initiative NOW...(as you have done)...

I know hearthquacke are not produced by global warming, I´m not an ignorant.
It is common missunderstand people in this forums, because we are learning english and very often we can get confuse.
Whe I talked about global warming was because of the replie of Bellota, and my words to Danyet Were because of the expression:

He could agree or disagree with our topics, and express his opinion. As a Mod I don´t like to censure nobody. but the expression is a violation of one of the rules of the forum:

If I offended you, I'm sorry, It wasn't my intention. I made that comment because I've met people who relate extreme weather with earthquakes. I guess I'm used to correct them, so, my mistake....

Yeah, you right he was very rude and, as you said, that's unacceptable.... However, the main idea behind his words are true, I mean, It's important to understand that global warming is not the cause of earthquakes... And that was the idea I wanted to take to make my comment...

An earthquake is something terrible. Costa Rica sent our help. But I just want to say that I I prayed a lot for them. And also I want to say that we have to work even harder to continue life ahead.
