There's a band called Skank that's really great.

Jota Quest is also another really cool band.

There's Vanessa, who isn't really a great singer, but she's hell of a beautiful woman!

Hello Mary, welcome to the EC and to Latin American forum. I hope the forum can help you learn English, make friends and have fun :-D You know, there are many, many members from Costa Rica here, so I think you'll feel at home {-;

Hey, I'm glad to know you like Brasil and bossa nova. You know, bossa nova is one of my favorit kind of music. My favorite singer is Elis Regina. So, you play the guitar, that's nice, I play the bass guitar. Bossa nova is not an easy rithm to play, that's just like jazz. How are you going with it?

Regards,

Eduardo.

Hey nice to meet you Eduardo, you see like a very nice person:-) And yes play bossa nova it`s difficult, specially if you are going to sing at the same time:-) but it´s really cool. So you play the bass...do you have a group?? Here in Costa Rica it´s a little difficult to have a band, specially if you're a woman. But I love to play here in my house. How old are you?? And where do you live exactly?? Is it ok if we talk about other things too?? jaja, not only about music:-) thanks for answer me, you`re the first one:-) , I'm waiting for you're reply:-)
