I have a computer that is old and slow, so I usually download programs that use less resources and run faster. That's why I think Maxthon is better, but I'm not sure about the exact difference in speed between Maxthon and Firefox, or any other browsers.

I don 't consider that Firefox requires much resources. My computer is AMD Duron 900Mhz and can run it fine

My computer has a 750MHz processor, which is probably enough for Firefox and other similar browsers to run properly, but I still prefer Maxthon.

Firefox is my favourite browser too. I am using it nearly 3 years. I downloaded the version 3.0 and I liked it very much. But 2-3 days after the downloading , sometimes my computer started to locked and I realized that firefox 3.0 was using my RAM very much.So I deleted the version 3.0 and installed the version 2 again. Now I am happy to surfing on the net with firefox 2.0. May be next months I install the firefox 3 again :)

I downloaded it the other day and it's not much different that version 2. Except for the cleaner look and new button designs the browser runs the same. There are a lot less send error messages and need to reboot the application but that could my computer running slow or a computer bug.

Really!! I thought FF3 had a better memory management, anyways mine works pretty well even if some add-ons that I installed on the version 2.x are no more compatible.
