I'm "entertaining" offers

Post by Aikuzo »

I've been unemployed for about 5 months now. I was a long-term employee at Home Depot. I'm entertaining other offers at this point.

can I ask what "entertaining" here stands for, thanks again.
Pls correct any errors you see on my writings on: nouns, tenses :)

In this context entertaining means "considering" or "giving my attention to".

- I would never entertain the idea of marriage.
